Health & Wellness Co-ordinator

The Health and Wellness Coordinator provides health education, promotion and programs
that encourage and support healthy lifestyles. The Health and Wellness Coordinator also
works with community agencies and groups to create supportive environments for healthy living.

Smart Families Food Co-op

The purpose of the Smart Families Food Coop is to provide value priced fresh fruit and vegetables to help people eat healthier, while saving time and money. The SFFC uses everyone's money to bulk buy fresh fruit and vegetables, then divides and repackages all of the items into food boxes.

Each Good Food Box contains a selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables:Smart Families Foo Co-op

$20.00 Food Box contains:
• 3 different fruits
• 5 different vegetables
• 1 - 3 staple items.

$10.00 Food Box contains:
• 3 different fruits
• 4-5 different vegetable

There are various depots around the city where you can pay for your food box and pick it up. The Co-operative Health Centre is one of these depots. If you can't pick up your food box, you can also have it delivered for small additional fee. For more information, please call the SFFC Coordinator at 763-0242.
