Community Respiratory Program

We have two registered Respiratory Therapists who are certified respiratory educators (CRE) that evaluate, educate and assist in the management of respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder ( COPD), Asthma and Sleep Apnea.

Services are vailable through self-referral or through a referral of a Physician or Nurse Practitioner (your primary health care provider).

For an appointment please call (306) 763-6464.

Whether Physician/Nurse Practitioner (NP) or self-referred you will be contacted to book your appointment which will be one hour.

What to expect

During your visit a Respiratory Therapist will perform diagnostic testing such as Spirometry or Full Pulmonary Function testing, gather information and conduct a thorough evaluation of respiratory history, and provide  education on inhaler therapies, symptom management, and health maintenance and rehabilitation strategies.  They may also discuss risk factors and lifestyle changes, such as smoking cessation and exercise.

Follow-up appointments are made if ongoing monitoring and support of your respiratory goals is required.

Whether self or physician/NP referral all test results and recommendations for management and follow-up will be forwarded to your primary care provider within 48 hours for review and follow-up with you as needed.
